iPhone 15 release — which iPhones will Apple discontinue?

Following the release of the iPhone 15, some devices might still be available.

This fall's release of the iPhone 15 will provide an opportunity to become acquainted with Apple's newest smartphone. But it's also the right time to say goodbye to some of the existing iPhone models, which will probably be replaced by the newer models in Apple's lineup.

We don't have any unique knowledge of Apple's plans at this time because the iPhone 15 release date is still months away. But, the business adheres to a few tried-and-true strategies for building out its phone range, giving us a solid indication of which iPhones will still be available in September and which ones will be retired.

And it's crucial to be aware of it beforehand. Other more recent smartphones, including some of the best iPhones you can now buy, are likely on the chopping block as well. While Apple will undoubtedly discontinue some older phones to make place for the iPhone 15 models. If you're debating whether to get one of those models, now might be a good time to do so, especially if you can further reduce the cost through an iPhone 14 offer.

Here are our best predictions for the iPhone lineup this fall, following the release of the iPhone 15. This includes the present models that we anticipate Apple will discontinue later this year.

Apple presently offers eight different iPhone models: four from the iPhone 14 introduction last autumn, plus the iPhone SE, a model due out in 2022. The iPhone 12 will mark its third birthday in the fall of 2021, whereas the iPhone 13 variants were released in 2021.
